Dr. Tracy Heller is a Cognitive Enhancement Practitioner and Clinical Psychologist with expertise in mental skills training for optimal performance in high-pressure scenarios, as well as performance recovery for sustainment. Her areas of specialization include stress management, attention control, mindfulness, relaxation strategies, mistake management, mind-body recovery, biofeedback for self-regulation, breathing training, and sleep coaching. She enjoys working in a multidisciplinary team atmosphere to meet the multifaceted needs of clients.
She received her B.S. in Psychology from St. Lawrence University, M.A. in Sport Psychology from McGill University, and Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Sport Psychology from Florida State University. She is licensed to practice psychology in Virginia and California and is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) through the Association for Applied Sport Psychology. She is a member of the Association of Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback, is Board Certified in Biofeedback (BCB) through the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance, and is a Certified Breathing Behavior Analyst. She is working toward earning certification as an Advanced Certified Personal and Executive Coach through the College of Executive Coaching. She is a Performance and Clinical Psychology Advisor for the NATO Special Operations Headquarters (NSHQ) Mental Performance and Resiliency Advisory Board.
